A sense of perspective is needed, I think

ITV have apologised because one of the contestants on their ridiculous fucking show cooked and ate a rat. According to the RSPCA in New South Wales,

it was "not acceptable" an animal had been killed as part of a performance.

I'm sorry, but It's a fucking rat.

How many people are tucking into chicken, or fish, or sausages, or steak tonight? I know I am. What's the difference?

It is no more...

Shuffled off to join the choir invisible.

Having eaten many a dubious kebab/curry on a night out I am sure that many a rodent has been eaten by me.

Heard this one on the radio, some Auzzie eco-loon pratting on about it would have been fine to kill the rat 'just for food' but not as entertainment. Still it might see the demise of some of those awfull TV cookery programmes if they all have to go vegan.

Even better, it could see the demise of TV shows like "Celebrity Jungle", which have taken levels of banality to heights I never even knew existed (and Mrs. Bristol Dave watches Sex In The City, which takes some beating)

When I heard this on the radio I just thought 'Oh Lord, give me strength'. Will this madness ever end. Well one things for sure, it won't end as long as the current political elite occupy Westminster. There needs to be radical change, we won't get it and ultimately its our own fault.
