Councillors resign over blogger

Unfortunately not in Bristol, but in Somerton.

The blog looks very tame compared to some of my rantings about BCC. In fact, that blog's criticism of Somerton Council looks pretty tame compared to fairly reserved ones such as Green Bristol Blog, and certainly looks tame compared to The Bristol Blogger.

The bloggers of Bristol need to get some of this shit rolling here. If anyone has anything juicy they want published you can email me anonymously at bristoldave@hotmail.co.uk.

How about a friendly wager? First Bristol-based blogger to cause a local councillor to resign (or be defrocked) wins! Double or quits for an MP!

Hey, who are you calling 'fairly reserved'? That's not what they call me in Cycling City I can tell you.

I may not use the F word or the C work but I used the S word (er, shit) the other day. So you're not hte only one with testicles around here.

Another thing. Did you notice that the Somerton blogger had been victim of physical attacks? - http://bit.ly/bperB - We don't get many of those round this way, unless you include rabid motorists harassing innocent cyclists.

Good for him and more power to his blog. Will the righteous start screaming about how unfair and undemocratic it all is ?

Brilliant idea. To be honest, with some of our councillors, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
