You might have been a fucking freak in your later years, but you didn't half write some truly amazing music.
Personally I'd like to thank you for Thriller, which is, in my opinion, one of the best albums ever produced.

I think Rod Temperton wrote most of Thriller.
A talented guy who went horribly wrong later in life.
I think and hope he will be remembered for his amazing music and dance moves.
I feel for the guys kids, as it must be so hard to lose a parent at such a young age.

Quincy Jones wrote his music, and he performed it.
Much like Boyzone or Britney Spears.
He was one of the first of these.
The best ever performer, yes. Comparible to Lennon/Mccartney - no!
