Welsh and Scottish nationalist parties say they will demand "fair funding" before negotiating with Labour or the Conservatives in a hung Parliament.
I demand it too. The Barnett Formula results in the Morlocks and the Porridge-Wogs getting more money per person than we get.
* England £7,121
* Scotland £8,623
* Wales £8,139
* Northern Ireland £9,385
(figures from Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA) 2007, chapter 9, table 9.2)
So "fairer funding" would presumably work out (in the above example) as the same amount per person in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, would it not, Mr. Salmond? Wouldn't you agree, Mr. Jones?
Oh, it wouldn't? But pray tell, why not? What would be fairer?
You fucking grasping cunts.
Update: Forest Pines pointed out that I was a complete mong with the figures in the first post. Thanks, I have now updated it to show what I meant.

The age old question that bloggers never answer. What job do you do? Helps us readers understand your point of view?
Preempting your rather obvious Ad Hominem attack, why do you ask?
Didn't think you would answer? Just interested that's all.
I have no intention of attacking you.
I thought the "wondered how you had so much time to blog during the day" response was going to be a little predictable.
I (like most bloggers, I fear) work in IT.
Your maths is a bit off. A flat per-person funding figure wouldn't be the average of the four current figures. It would be much closer to the current England figure simply because most of us in the UK live in England. My rough calculation is about £7,360 per person.
Forest Pines:
Yes of course. Sorry, I was having an off day.
